The back of the house opens to a creek and pond with the lake just beyond — fish off the dock, paddle the kayaks, or walk down to the marina and the bar-grill (six minutes on foot). The yard is open to the water, so keep an eye on kids and pets near the edge. Life vests for the kayaks are provided. Inside, you've got a chef's kitchen, fast Wi-Fi (300mbps), full A/C and heat year-round, washer and dryer, and a workspace if you have to dial in. The kitchen is stocked with the basics — coffee, filters, salt, pepper, oil, dish soap, paper towels — so you're not running to the store on day one. We're the Schnepp family from Gilbert.
